VP, CRO, and executive sales leadership — work from anywhere
Loading live jobs...
Executive remote sales jobs — VP of Sales, SVP, CRO, and Chief Revenue Officer positions — represent the apex of sales leadership. These are the roles where you own tens or hundreds of millions in revenue, report to the CEO, present to the board, and shape the trajectory of the entire company. And increasingly, they're fully remote.
The acceptance of remote executive sales leadership has been transformative. Growth-stage companies now routinely hire VPs and CROs who work from anywhere, recognizing that the best talent isn't concentrated in San Francisco or New York. What matters is your ability to build organizations, hit revenue targets, and provide strategic leadership — none of which requires a physical office.
Compensation at the executive level is substantial. VPs of Sales earn $200K-$350K base with $300K-$500K total cash comp. CROs: $250K-$400K base with $400K-$700K total cash. The real wealth creation comes from equity — executive sales leaders at successful growth companies can earn $2M-$20M+ from equity in a liquidity event. Even at public companies, RSU packages for sales executives often exceed $500K annually.
Landing an executive remote sales role requires a documented track record of scaling revenue organizations. Companies want to see specific numbers: ARR grown from $X to $Y, team built from N to M reps, specific sales motions implemented, and the ability to recruit and develop other leaders. Board and investor relationships are also increasingly important.
